Test results of latest round of egg samples released

The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) today (February 27) announced results of the latest round of tests on eggs. Results of 13 samples available today showed that they were all genuine eggs.
"From February 19 till now, the CFS received a total of 25 complaints about suspected fake eggs bought from the market and 35 egg samples were sent to the Government Laboratory for tests. Among them, 32 samples were confirmed to be genuine eggs. Results for the remaining three samples are pending," a CFS spokesman said.
