The Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority (TELA) announced today (February 22) that 10 websites have been voted meritorious websites in the 2008 Meritorious Website Contest. They are:

Hong Kong Education City: www.hkedcity.net
The contest is jointly organised by the TELA, Education Bureau, Committee for Home-School Co-operation, Hong Kong Internet Service Providers Association and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). It aims to encourage young people and the public to visit healthy websites and to recognise the contributions of the producers of these websites.
The contest was well-received this year with more than 100 nominations and over 150,000 votes from the public. The professional adjudication panel considered that the winning websites provide both healthy and varied content, and are worthy of visiting, especially for the youngsters. The panel also recommends the following two websites on healthy eating and interactive educational games for dyslexia students:
