Hongkong Post announced today (February 2) that the Happy Valley Post Office located at Shop A&B, G/F, 14-16 Sing Woo Road, Happy Valley, would be temporarily closed next Monday (February 9) until late March for major renovation works. The office will be re-opened when the renovation works are completed. The date of resumption of service will be announced later.
The Happy Valley Post Office has operated from the present location since 1990. It is necessary to improve the general condition of the office to provide better service to customers.
During the renovation period, customers may use the Morrison Hill Post Office at G/F, 28 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai.
The existing Collection of Mail, Local Standing Order Service and private franking machine services at the office will be handled at the Morrison Hill Post Office during the period of Happy Valley Post Office's closure.
