Israel-bound Hong Kong travellers should watch local situation

In view of the recent developments in Israel and its surrounding areas, a Government spokesman today (February 1) reminded Hong Kongresidents who plan to visit these areas to pay close attention to the situation there. Those who are already there should attend to their personal safety.
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government will maintain a close liaison with the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong and the Chinese Embassy in Israel to monitor the latest situation there.
