Dead body found case in Tsuen Wan reclassified as murder

Police today (January 12) reclassified a dead body found case in Tsuen Wan early yesterday morning (January 11) as murder.
About 12.30am yesterday, Police received a report that a woman was found lying outside a flat at 87 Chuen Lung Street.
The woman, in her mid-thirties, was certified dead by ambulancemen at the scene. No identity document was found on the deceased.
A post-mortem examination was conducted today and revealed that she died of suffocation.
Active investigations by Regional Crime Unit of New Territories South are proceeding.
