
No. 3 alarm fire in Ta Kwu Ling Roundup

A tin-sheeted structure and a large quantity of electronic wastes in a recyclable storage site at Hung Lung Hang, Ta Kwu Ling, were severely damaged during a No.3 alarm fire today (November 30). The hillside in the vicinity was also affected.
The fire broke out at 11.30am and was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 1.36pm. It was put out at 5.37pm.
Firemen used six jets and four breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze. Two helicopters of the Government Flying Service were deployed to the scene for water bombing.
No casualty was reported.
