| The Secretary for Justice, Mr Wong Yan Lung, SC, meets Chief Justice James Spigelman, Supreme Court of New South Wales, in Sydney today (November 26). The promotion of mediation and arbitration as an alternative dispute resolution option was discussed during the meeting. Mr Wong was also briefed on the operation of drug courts in New South Wales.
Before ending his visit, Mr Wong had lunch with the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration and delivered a keynote address at a function organised by the Sydney Law School and Mallesons Stephen Jaques. He will return to Hong Kong tomorrow (November 27). |
