The Highways Department today (November 14) invited tenders for Term Contract (Management and Maintenance of Roads in Kowloon East excluding High Speed Roads 2009-2014). This is a five-year maintenance term contract from April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2014.
Tender submissions should be placed at the Government Secretariat Tender Box in the lift lobby on the lower ground floor of the Central Government Offices (East Wing), 20 Lower Albert Road, Hong Kong. Closing date is noon on January 2, 2009.
The works mainly comprise the management and maintenance of public roads, including associated slopes, highway structures, landscaping and minor improvement works in Kowloon East but excluding high speed roads.
This contract will be supervised by the Urban Region of the Highways Department.
