The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) today (November 7) reminded the public that auctions of stalls for the coming Lunar New Year (LNY) fairs in Victoria Park and Kowloon would start next Wednesday (November 12).
For the Victoria Park Fair, there will be 180 wet goods stalls, 284 dry goods stalls, eight thematic stalls and three fast food stalls available for bidding. In the four fairs at Fa Hui Park, Cheung Sha Wan Playground, Morse Park and Kwun Tong Recreation Ground in Kowloon, there will be a total of 322 wet goods stalls, 240 dry goods stalls and eight fast food stalls.
All the auctions will be held at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, 18 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai. The auction sessions are scheduled from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2.15pm to 4.45pm. The schedule and opening prices are as follows:

Bidders must be at least 18 years old. Anyone can bid for more than one stall.
A successful bidder is required to pay the bid price of the stall at the fall of the hammer. Legal proceedings will be instituted against bidders who use dishonoured cheques or fail to pay the sum required immediately after the auction and recovery action on the bid prices in arrears may also be taken.
Successful bidders who fail to pay the sum required immediately after the auction will forfeit their right and the stalls concerned will be re-auctioned immediately.
