The Codes of Practice Committee of the Broadcasting Authority will hold a meeting on November 13 (Thursday) and members of the public are welcome to observe the proceedings.
The meeting will mainly discuss the regulation of advertising of nicotine replacement therapy products on television and radio, as well as amendments to the provisions on identification of repeat children's programmes on domestic free television programme services, announcement of programme changes within programmes and broadcast of in-programme promotions on television.
The meeting will be chaired by the committee chairman, Mrs Stella Lau Kun Lai-kuen, and conducted in Cantonese. It will be held at 10am at the Conference Room of the Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority, 39th Floor, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai.
