Yau Tsim Mong by-election poll cards sent to electors

     Poll cards for a Yau Tsim Mong District Council by-election on October 5 have been sent to more than 7,600 electors in the Jordan East constituency.

     A polling station at the Jordan Road Government Primary School, 1B Nanking Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, will open from 7.30am to 10.30pm on polling day.

     "Electors who have not yet received their poll cards can make enquiries to the election hotline on 2891 1001," a spokesman for the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) said today (September 30).

     The REO has mailed to every elector in the Jordan East constituency a poll card, a map indicating the location of the designated polling station, a guide on voting procedure, an introductory leaflet on the candidates and a leaflet from the Independent Commission Against Corruption on a clean election.

     Particulars of the five candidates contesting the by-election are as follows:
