LCSD received 33 reports of fallen trees

Since the typhoon signal no.8 was issued at 6pm yesterday (September 23) until its cancellation at 6.30am today (September 24), the Regional Tree and Landscape Sections of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department recorded 33 requests for emergency assistance in relation to fallen trees and tree trunks on roadsides. There were nine requests in Hong Kong region, 17 in Kowloon region and seven in the New Territories region.
