Members of the public are welcome to visit a two-day exhibition on the Employment Ordinance and the Wage Protection Movement organised by the Labour Department in Shau Kei Wan starting tomorrow (September 13).
The exhibition will feature the main provisions of the ordinance, the rights and benefits of foreign domestic helpers, the difference between employees and self-employed persons, family-friendly employment practices and the use of written employment contracts. Information on the Wage Protection Movement will be displayed and the related publications and souvenirs will also be distributed.
The exhibition will be held at G/F, Oi Tung Shopping Centre, Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong, from 11am to 6pm. Admission is free.
