Star-studded local magicians give party

     A dazzling array of local magicians will take part in three magic shows titled "The Magic Raiders' Astounding Party".

     Magical Mascot is going to complete an impossible mission with the help of the magic raiders and audiences. "Boom-me, boom-me, boom Happy Birthday, it's the magical spell everybody needs to say!"

     The shows, organised by the Magicians' Association of Hong Kong, will start at 8pm at the Auditorium, North District Town Hall on October 18 (Saturday), at the Auditorium, Tai Po Civic Centre on October 26 (Sunday) and at the Theatre, Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre on November 7 (Friday).

     Magicians performing in the shows are Jim Chan, Wong Chun Kin, Kong Kwong Wai, Man Kim, Clifford Chan, Lee Chi Wah, Daniel Chan, Andy Ko, Albert Tam, Avon Lee, Eric Cheng, Eric Mui, Kenneth Chan, Simon, Freddy Ng, Alex Ng, Gray Charm and Ma Ka Sze.

     Founded in 1989, the Magicians' Association of Hong Kong is the only international organisation of magicians in Hong Kong. It aims to promote the art of magic, associating individuals who are interested in magic, fostering local and oversea connections, upgrading the standard of the art of magic and the status of magicians, and assisting prospective magicians to develop their careers.

      "The Magic Raiders' Astounding Party" is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Tickets ranging from $80 to $120 are now available at URBTIX outlets. Senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients may have 50% off (limited quotas for CSSA recipients on a first-come, first-served basis). A maximum discount of 20% is offered for various booking schemes. Please refer to the programme leaflets for details.
