Commenting on the arrest of staff of the Board of Management of the Chinese Permanent Cemeteries (BMCPC) by the ICAC, a Home Affairs Bureau spokesman said today (September 1):
"BMCPC attaches great importance to the conduct of the staff, and would not tolerate any corruption or illegal act by the staff.
BMCPC would fully cooperate and assist the ICAC in the investigation work.
Regarding the operation, the BMCPC would review the existing situation and study whether there is room for improvement."
