Hongkong Post will issue a stamp sheetlet to commemorate Hongkong Post's participation in World Stamp Exhibition PRAGA 2008 on September 12, 2008 (Friday). Associated stamp products will also be on sale from the same day.
PRAGA 2008 will be held in Prague, the Czech Republic, from September 12 to 14, 2008. Hongkong Post's participation in PRAGA 2008 will provide an excellent opportunity to present quality Hong Kong stamps overseas and to promote philately as a universally enjoyable hobby.
Official First Day Covers at $1 each will go on sale at all post offices from August 29, 2008. The stamp sheetlet and the associated philatelic products will be displayed at the General Post Office and Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsuen Wan and Sha Tin Central Post Offices from the same day. Advance orders for servicing self-provided covers will be accepted at all philatelic offices from August 29 to September 4, 2008.
