According to information from Hospital Authority, three persons died and 55 persons were sent to hospitals during the No.5 Alarm Fire in Mong Kok.
The three deceased were 46-year-old Senior Fireman, Mr Siu Wing-fong; 25-year-old Fireman, Mr Chan Siu-lung; and a 77-year-old woman.
Among the 55 injured persons, 19 were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, 16 to Kwong Wah Hospital, 12 to Princess Margaret Hospital and eight to Caritas Medical Centre.
Of the injured persons, 15 persons were treated and discharged. Among the 40 admitted into hospitals, a 26-year-old man was in critical condition, 2 men and 1 woman are serious while the remaining 36 persons are stable or satisfactory.
