The Town Planning Board today (August 8) announced an amendment to the approved Tung Chung Town Centre Area Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendment is to rezone a site to the west of Yu Tung Road in Areas 22 and 25 from ¡§Residential (Group A)¡¨ to ¡§Government, Institution or Community¡¨ for a proposed hospital development.
The draft Tung Chung Town Centre Area OZP No. S/I-TCTC/15 incorporating the amendment, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters at North Point and Sha Tin Government Offices, the Sai Kung and Islands District Planning Office, the Islands District Office and Tung Chung Rural Committee.
Any person may make written representations in respect of the amendment to the secretary of the board on or before October 8, 2008. Representations made to the board will be made available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Tung Chung Town Centre Area OZP No. S/I-TCTC/15 are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the board's website at (www.info.gov.hk/tpb/).
