Please broadcast the following as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals until 5pm.
The Department of Health announces that due to the typhoon, all clinics will be closed except the following eight methadone clinics.
The eight methadone clinics are: Violet Peel Methadone Clinic in Wan Chai; Eastern Street Methadone Clinic in Sai Ying Pun; Robert Black Methadone Clinic in San Po Kong; Ho Man Tin Methadone Clinic ; Sham Shui Po Methadone Clinic; the Lady Trench Methadone Clinic in Tsuen Wan; Tuen Mun Methadone Clinic; and Cheung Chau Methadone Clinic at St. John Hospital.
Those people receiving methadone treatment can go to one of these clinics in their own region for their daily dose, taking along their methadone treatment cards.
People are advised to pay attention to radio and television announcements.
