Special giveaways on first anniversary of youth portal
******************************************************

August 3, 2008, marks the first anniversary of Youth.gov.hk. To celebrate this landmark event, we have launched a special "Anniversary Sweepstakes" page to give away gifts to show our gratitude to our dearest members. Other specials for the month include "Release of the HKCEE Results" and "In touch with the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games". Youth.gov.hk captures the hottest topics, entertainment and useful information for young people, and is the one-stop portal you should not miss!

Special gifts for our special fans
----------------------------------

In return for our members' ongoing support over the past year, we have launched an interesting game of magic with all sorts of gifts to play for. Just become a member and get the chance to win cash coupons by answering correctly just one question in the quiz. The questions are updated every Tuesday and Friday via the "Quiz" zone. If you do not want to miss out on the prizes, stay with Youth.gov.hk in August.

Release of HKCEE results
------------------------

To root for all S5 graduates this year, we have put together a full list of things they would need on the day the HKCEE results come out. They include a checklist of must-haves for the day, a useful list of phone numbers as well as a visual guide to career and study choices. Tune in to our special page in which celebrities share their HKCEE experience and their career history, so as to point our S5 graduates in the right direction in mapping out their future paths.

Capturing all the moments that make all Chinese proud
-----------------------------------------------------

As the Beijing 2008 Olympics approaches, a "First-hand Olympics News" section is newly opened on "In touch with the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games" special page. There you will find interesting bits and pieces about and informative hyperlinks to the Olympics. Coupled with our "focus of the day" daily photo updates on the Games, we are geared up to bring you up to date and join in the action!

We at Youth.gov.hk are well aware that success is not achieved in a day, and it takes hard work to win recognition. We promise to do our best and bring to young people in Hong Kong the latest, the fastest and the most wonderful stories as our way of saying thank you for all your support!
