The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, started his duty visit in Australia today (August 1). This morning in Adelaide, Mr Tsang met the South Australian Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Mr Rory McEwen, and briefed him on the wine trading situation in Hong Kong after the lifting of wine duty. They also exchanged views on co-operation in wine trading between the two places and wine education. Mr Tsang is pictured presenting a souvenir to Mr McEwen. Mr Tsang then met the Deputy Premier and Treasurer of South Australia, Mr Kevin Foley. He later met the Lieutenant Governor, Mr Hieu Van Le. He will also deliver a keynote speech at the Hong Kong Australia Business Association South Australia Business Awards presentation ceremony this evening. Mr Tsang will have a breakfast meeting tomorrow (August 2) with the Chinese Ambassador to Australia, Mr Zhang Junsai, before visiting several vineyards and wineries around Adelaide.
