The HKSAR Legislative Council Delegation to Visit Sichuan Quake-hit Areas will conduct a three-day visit starting today (July 4) to the quake-hit areas in Sichuan and meet with local government officials. The delegation will return to Hong Kong this Sunday (July 6).
The 20-member delegation will be led by the President of the Legislative Council, Hon Mrs Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai, with Hon Miriam Lau Kin-yee, Chairman of the House Committee, and Hon Tam Yiu Chung, Chairman of the Finance Committee, as the deputy leaders. Other members of the delegation include: Hon James Tien Pei-chun, Hon Lee Cheuk-yan, Dr Hon Lui Ming-wah, Hon Mrs Selina Chow Liang Shuk-yee, Hon James To Kun-sun, Hon Bernard Chan, Hon Chan Kam-lam, Dr Hon Philip Wong Yu-hong, Dr Hon Yeung Sum, Hon Audrey Eu Yuet-mee, Hon Wong Kwok-hing, Hon Lee Wing-tat, Dr Hon Joseph Lee Kok-long, Hon Leung Kwok-hung, Dr Hon Kwok Ka-ki, Dr Hon Fernando Cheung Chiu-hung and Hon Wong Ting-kwong.
