Following is the speech by the Secretary for Justice, Mr Wong Yan Lung, SC, in resuming the third reading debate on the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2008 in the Legislative Council today (July 2):
Madam President,
The Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2008 has passed through Committee stage with amendments. I move that this Bill be read the third time and do pass.
