One of the exhibits, an engraving 'Forcing the Encampment at G?d?n-Ola' by Giuseppe Castiglione of the Qing dynasty. As a court painter, Giuseppe excelled in many subjects, particularly horses. His work showed a unique fusion of Western realistic rendering with the subtlety of Chinese 'gongbi' (meticulous) brushwork.   Close
