The Department of Health announces that once the typhoon signal no. 8 is issued, all clinics will be closed except the following six methadone clinics.
The six methadone clinics are: Violet Peel Methadone Clinic in Wan Chai; Eastern Street Methadone Clinic in Sai Ying Pun; Robert Black Methadone Clinic in San Po Kong; Ho Man Tin Methadone Clinic; Sham Shui Po Methadone Clinic; and the Lady Trench Methadone Clinic in Tsuen Wan.
Those receiving methadone treatment can go to one of these clinics in their own regions for their daily dose, bringing along their methadone treatment cards.
The public are advised to pay attention to radio and television announcements.
