The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Edward Yau, will attend the Chatham House Conference on Climate Change on the last day (June 16) of his visit to London.
Mr Yau called on the Head of Environment, Greater London Authority, Ms Shirley Rodrigues, and the Manager of C40 Cities Secretariat, Mr Simon Reddy, in the morning.
In the afternoon (London time), Mr Yau will participate in a panel discussion at the climate change conference on "The Role of Cities in Promoting Energy Efficiencies on a Big Scale and Developing New Technologies", and give a briefing on the measures adopted in Hong Kong to combat climate change and promote energy efficiency.
Mr Yau will return to Hong Kong tomorrow afternoon (June 17).
