The Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Professor K C Chan, will leave Hong Kong tonight (June 2) for an official visit to Moscow.
Professor Chan will promote Hong Kong's status as an international financial centre by addressing a listing conference jointly organised by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, the Russian-Chinese Business Council and the All-Russian Organisation in Moscow.
During the visit, Professor Chan will meet senior government officials and corporate leaders in the financial services sector to brief them on the latest developments in Hong Kongˇ¦s financial market. He will also visit the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange.
Professor Chan will return to Hong Kong on June 7.
