The Correctional Services Department announced today (April 25) the promotion of an Assistant Commissioner, a Chief Superintendent and nine Superintendents of Correctional Services.
Mr Yau Chi-chiu, 47, has been promoted to Assistant Commissioner (Operations). He joined the department (previously Prisons Department) as Officer in 1980.
Mr Cheung Tat-hung, 53, has been promoted to Chief Superintendent of Lai Chi Kok Reception Centre. He joined the department (previously Prisons Department) as Officer in 1974.
Mr Kwong Yiu-wing, 53, has been promoted to Superintendent of Cape Collinson Correctional Institution. He joined the department (previously Prisons Department) as Assistant Officer II in 1974.
Mr Lai Ting-bong, 53, has been promoted to Superintendent overseeing Lo Wu Correctional Institution Re-development Project. He joined the department (previously Prisons Department) as Officer in 1978.
Ms Tam Pui-ha, 48, has been promoted to Superintendent of Lai Chi Kok Correctional Institution. She joined the department as Officer in 1982.
Mr Ng Hon-yin, 50, has been promoted to Superintendent of Stanley Prison. He joined the department (previously Prisons Department) as Officer in 1981.
Mr Lam Yick-kei, 50, has been promoted to Superintendent of Sha Tsui Detention Centre. He joined the department (previously Prisons Department) as Officer in 1981.
Mr Ho Kwong-fai, 46, has been promoted to Superintendent of Pak Sha Wan Correctional Institution. He joined the department (previously Prisons Department) as Officer in 1981.
Mr Tang Ping-ming, 45, has been promoted to Superintendent (Human Resource). He joined the department as Officer in 1987.
Ms Ng Sau-wai, 43, has been promoted to Superintendent of Chi Ma Wan Correctional Institution. She joined the department as Officer in 1989.
Mr Au Lok-wah, 50, has been promoted to Superintendent of Hei Ling Chau Addiction Treatment Centre. He joined the department as Officer in 1983.
