The Housing Department (HD) has won the Gold Award for Design Excellence (Landscape Display) in the Hong Kong Flower Show consecutively for two years.
The exhibit with the theme "Green Green Garden of Home" emphasises the HD's mission to green and enhance the living environment.
Displaying a wide variety of flowers and plants, the winning entry features two theme gardens - "Tactile Plant Path" and "Insecticidal Plant Path". Most of the plants are commonly found in the public housing estates. The design also highlights the provision of barrier-free access.
Members of the public are welcome to visit the "Green Green Garden of Home" at Victoria Park during the flower show from March 14 to 24.
