Visitors to the Hong Kong Flower Show this year will see more than just flowers.
Organisers of the Equestrian Events of the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games - The Equestrian Company - will mount a display in the show venue at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay.
The display will include panels detailing the milestones of the Games, an introduction to the fuwa (mascots) and the Equestrian Events.
There will be the ubiquitous exhibits of floral arrangements for the mascots , which for the Olympic Equestrian Events is Huan Huan; and Fu Niu Lele for the Paralympic Equestrian Events. Visitors are welcome to pose for photographs with the displays.
Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Flower Show will run from Friday (March 14) until March 24.
The Olympic Equestrian Events will be staged from August 9-21; while the Paralympic Equestrian Events will be held from September 7-11.
