The Convenor of the Non-official Members of the Executive Council (ExCo), Mr Leung Chun-ying, and some ExCo Members met the media on the 2008-09 Budget at the Legislative Council Building this afternoon (February 27). Following is the transcript of Mr Leung's remarks (English portion):

Mr Leung: It is a very comprehensive Budget. It benefits the full spectrum and many sectors of the community. It is a Budget that we, as non-official members of the Executive Council, definitely fully support. We expect all members of the society will support this Budget. Thank you.
