The Labour Department and the Hong Kong Retail Management Association will hold a two-day job fair at ground floor, Cine Valley, Kingswood Ginza, Tin Shui Wai, on February 26 and 27, providing more than 2,600 vacancies for job seekers.
A total of 23 companies from the retail industry will set up counters for on-the-spot recruitment. The vacancies offered cover a variety of positions such as manager, shop supervisor, shop sales, customer service representative, clerk, cashier and warehouse assistant. Job seekers who want to know more about the vacancies may go to the department's Interactive Employment Service website (www.jobs.gov.hk).
The majority of the vacancies offer a monthly salary ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. About 70% of these vacancies require Form 3 educational level or below. About 90% of them are full-time jobs. Job seekers can submit applications on the spot and may be selected for on-site interviews. The Labour Department will also conduct on-the-spot registration for job seekers.
The job fair will be held from 11am to 6pm on the ground floor, Cine Valley, Kingswood Ginza, Tin Shui Wai. Admission is free.
