Temporary suspension of Mobile Library 5 and 7 services

    Services provided by Mobile Libraries 5 and 7 would be suspended in February and early March for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (February 12).

    Service points covered by Mobile Library 7 to be affected from February 18 to March 2 are: Whampoa Garden in Hung Hom; Hoi Fu Court in Mong Kok West; Sceneway Garden in Lam Tin; Ko Yee Estate in Yau Tong; Chuk Yuen (South) Estate in Wong Tai Sin, and Hoi Lai Estate in Sham Shui Po.

    Service points covered by Mobile Library 5 to be affected from February 25 to March 3 are: Hin Keng Estate, Chevalier Garden, Pok Hong Estate and Kam Tai Court in Shatin; Kin Ming Estate and Tsui Lam Estate in Sai Kung; Fu Shin Estate and Fu Heng Estate in Tai Po, and Bayview Garden and Tai Wo Hau Estate in Tsuen Wan.

    People may use other public libraries during the service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephone at 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.

    Enquiries on Mobile Libraries 5 and 7 can be made by telephoning 2696 5842 and 2926 3056 respectively.
