Drainage improvement works at Shuen Wan

    The Government intends to carry out construction works at Shuen Wan in Tai Po to accommodate the construction of the proposed mechanical penstock, which forms parts of the proposed drainage improvement works at Shuen Wan.

     The work, which will affect an area of approximately 87 square metres of foreshore and sea-bed near Ting Kok Road, is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2008 and to be completed by early 2011.

     A notice describing the extent of the area affected is published in the Government Gazette today (January 25).

     The notice and its related plan can be seen on notice boards posted near the site.  The plan can also be seen at the Lands Department Survey and Mapping Office, 23rd Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point and at the Tai Po District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Ground Floor, Tai Po Government Offices Building, 1 Ting Kok Road, Tai Po.

     Any person who has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and sea-bed involved may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands, 20th Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point by March 25, 2008.
