Government youth portal launches members' scheme
************************************************

The government youth portal, youth.gov.hk, has launched a membership scheme to keep in touch with young people.

Young people aged 12 or above can join the scheme via www.youth.gov.hk/en/member/ by filling out a simple online form. Members are eligible for exclusive privileges and web functions, and can share a multimedia and creative space online. Youth-oriented activities and themed visits will also be organised for members.

The first featured two-hour creative workshop, hosted by media veteran Mr Lawrence Cheng, will be held at 2.30pm on March 15 at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. Mr Cheng will share his experiences as a creative guru in the media industry with 100 lucky youth.gov.hk members. The interactive workshop will be in a question-and-answer format to promote independent thinking among young people and encourage them to voice their thoughts freely. Interested young people who register for membership before February 15 can win a free seat to the workshop.

Along with the website revamp in March, youth.gov.hk will also launch a "members' zone". In this members-only area, short quizzes on topics closely related to our everyday lives, arts and culture will be introduced on a monthly basis. Don¡¦t miss the chance to challenge yourself and win prizes.

Youth.gov.hk strives to be part of your exciting online experience and cares about what you think. Together, let's seek new horizons and explore infinite possibilities! Join us now!
