Services provided by Mobile Library 2 and 6 would be suspended in January and early February for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (January 14).
Service points covered by Mobile Library 6 to be affected from January 21 to 26 are Shau Kei Wan Main Street East, Lei Tung Estate and Ap Lei Chau Estate in Ap Lei Chau, Shek O Beach and Tsui Chuk Garden in Wong Tai Sin.
Service points covered by Mobile Library 2 to be affected from January 22 to February 4 are Sun Chui Estate, Kwong Yuen Estate, Mei Lam Estate, Lee On Estate, Sui Wo Court, Saddle Ridge Garden and Yiu On Estate in Sha Tin; Kwong Fuk Estate and Tai Yuen Estate in Tai Po; Hau Tak Estate, Sheung Tak Estate and Po Lam Estate in Sai Kung, and Ta Kwu Ling and Cheong Shing Court in North District.
People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephone at 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.
