All people need to do is log on to the EqCo's website at www.equestrian2008.org to register as applicants.

The EqCo is also appealing to employers of those people who have been recruited as volunteers to grant their employees leave which will enable them to work at the Games.

The spokesman said being selected as a volunteer for the Olympics and Paralympics Equestrian Events was a great achievement.

¡§In the spirit of the Games, we ask employers to consider granting leave to any employees who will be working as volunteers.

¡§We cannot stage the Games without volunteers and we need employers¡¦ help to ensure their employees can participate.¡¨
