Reconstruction and improvement work of Kai Tak Nullah

    The Government intends to conduct reconstruction and improvement work at a section of Kai Tak Nullah from Po Kong Village Road to Tung Lung Road to improve the hydraulic performance of the Nullah and also nearby living environment.

     The work, which will affect about 25,200 square metres of foreshore and seabed, is scheduled to begin in late 2008 for completion by 2014.

     A notice describing the extent of the area affected is gazetted today (December 14).

     The notice together with a related plan have been affixed near the site for public inspection.  The plan can also be seen at the Lands Department Survey and Mapping Office, 23/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road and at the Wong Tai Sin District Office, 2nd Floor, Lung Cheung Office Block, 138 Lung Cheung Road, Wong Tin Sin.

     Anyone who considers that he has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and seabed involved may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands, 20/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road on or before February 14, 2008.
