The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Frederick Ma, will attend the Shanghai-Hong Kong Metropolitan Development Seminar 2007 in Shanghai and deliver a keynote address this Thursday (December 6).
The seminar is jointly organised by the Shanghai Chinese Overseas Friendship Association and the Hong Kong-Shanghai Economic Development Association, and is supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Shanghai of the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The theme of this seminar highlights the implementation of CEPA and enhanced co-operation between the two cities for the development of the Yangtze River Delta.
Mr Ma will leave for Shanghai on Wednesday (December 5) afternoon and return to Hong Kong the following evening.
