The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will pay a duty visit to Beijing between November 21 and 23.
Mr Tsang will call on leaders of the Central People's Government and brief them on the latest social, economic and political developments in Hong Kong. He will also meet senior officials of the relevant ministries of the Central Government.
After his duty visit to Beijing, Mr Tsang will visit Guangzhou between November 23 and 24 to exchange views with provincial leaders of Guangdong on Hong Kong-Guangdong co-operation.
The Chief Executive will be accompanied by the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Norman Chan; the Director of Information Services, Mrs Betty Fung; the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Mr Kenneth Mak; Information Co-ordinator, Mr Andy Ho; and the Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive, Mr Chan Kin-ping.
During the absence of Mr Tsang, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
