IPC President tours Sha Tin Equestrian venue (with photo)

The President of the International Paralympic Committee, Sir Philip Craven, who is in Hong Kong on a short visit, today (October 27) toured the Sha Tin venue for next September¡¦ s Para- Equestrian Events of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.
Sir Philip declared the venue a ¡§great choice which seems to be logically laid-out¡¨.
Sha Tin, he added, ¡§will make an excellent arena for paralympics¡¨.
The Para-equestrian Events of the Paralympics will be staged in Hong Kong from September 7 to 11, 2008.
A total of 78 horses will be entered for the Dressage-only event.
