The Government published in the Gazette today (October 26) proposed road works to improve the traffic condition of a section of Castle Peak Road at San Tin near Tsing Lung Tsuen.
The proposed works include widening of a section of approximately 500-metre-long carriageway of Castle Peak Road (San Tin Section) to 7.3 metres on straight sections and local widening to 7.9 metres on bends with associated reprovision of footpaths and staircase; and ancillary works including drainage, geotechnical, landscaping, traffic aids installation and lighting works.
The plan is available for public inspection at the following Government Offices during office hours:
(i) Central and Western District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre, Unit 5, Ground Floor, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central;
(ii) Yuen Long District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Yuen Long District Office Building,269 Castle Peak Road, Yuen Long; and
(iii) District Lands Office, Yuen Long,
9th to 11th Floors, Yuen Long Government Offices, 2 Kiu Lok Square, Yuen Long.
