A total of 24 nominations for the 2007 District Council election were received by Returning Officers of the 18 districts today (October 13).
This brings to 860 the total number of nominations since the nomination period started on October 2. Nominations will close on October 15.
The Returning Officer of the Yau Tsim Mong District today received a notice of withdrawal of candidature from a nominee, Mr Mok Kwan-hung, for the poll in Mong Kok West.
