| Currently in Daegu, South Korea on a 3-day duty visit, the Commissioner for Tourism, Miss Au King-chi, is representing the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to join hands with the Lions Clubs District 303 in promoting the 47th OSEAL Forum to be held in Hong Kong in December 2008.
The Forum will be one of the major MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) events in the territory next year. Over 8,000 delegates from all over the world are expected to come.
Miss Au said that Hong Kong Government was committed to supporting international events, like the OSEAL Forum, to be held in Hong Kong. She said that Hong Kong was privileged to be Lions' chosen partner in organising mega events. With excellent supporting facilities, professional expertise and warm hospitality, the 47th OSEAL Forum in Hong Kong will for sure provide its participants the most exciting experience.
Miss Au addressed a reception hosted by Hong Kong at the 46th OSEAL Forum this evening (October 13). She will return to Hong Kong tomorrow.
