The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, today (October 12) issued the following statement after the Hong Kong, China, Delegation to the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games returned home in triumph:
¡§I congratulate the Hong Kong, China, Delegation for its record achievements in the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games. Hong Kong citizens and I are thrilled by their achievements. All the 106 Hong Kong athletes participating in the Games have put in huge efforts in the arena. I am really proud of their determination and perseverance.¡¨
