The second quarter 2007 issue of the Quarterly Supplement to Statistical Digest of the Services Sector is published by the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) today (October 12). This issue is now available for download (in PDF format) free of charge at the website of C&SD (www.censtatd.gov.hk/products_and_services/products/publications/index.jsp).
This issue of the Quarterly Supplement provides up-to-date quarterly statistics (from the first quarter of 2006 to the second quarter of 2007) on the 14 major service industries/domains of Hong Kong presented in the Statistical Digest of the Services Sector.
Besides, two feature articles are also included in this issue. The article on "Hong Kong's Trade in Services" presents an overview of trade in services in Hong Kong in 2005. Another article on "The Financial Markets and Asset Management Services Industry of Hong Kong" describes the development of the financial markets and asset management services industry in Hong Kong during the period from 1996 to 2006 and its latest performance in 2007.
The print version of this publication will also be available for sale at HK$58 per copy in October 2007. Purchase can be done in the following ways :
