The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will deliver his 2007-08 Policy Address in the Legislative Council at 11am on Wednesday (October 10), outlining the Government's policy direction for the coming year.
The speech will be broadcast live on TVB-Jade, TVB-Pearl, TVB PAY VISION News Channel (TVBN) and News 2 Channel (TVBN2), ATV-Home, ATV-World, ATV-24 News Channel, now Direct and now Business News Channel, Cable TV-Live News Channel and News Channel, HK Broadband Network-Live Information Channel and News Channel, Infonews of Phoenix TV as well as Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) radio channels 1, 3, 5, Putonghua channel and RTHK On-line, Commercial Radio AM864 and its website, and Metro Finance FM104.
At 3pm on Wednesday, the Chief Executive will hold a press conference to explain his policy initiatives in detail. The press conference will be broadcast live on TVB-Jade, TVBN and TVBN2, ATV-Home, ATV-24 News Channel, now Direct and now Business News Channel, Cable TV-Live News Channel and News Channel, Infonews of Phoenix TV, RTHK-1, RTHK-3 and RTHK On-line.
The public can watch the live broadcast of the Policy Address and the subsequent press conference, with a simple click into the Policy Address webpage (www.policyaddress.gov.hk).
They can also access the Internet version of the Policy Address on the Policy Address webpage through the e-Stations/Community Cyber Points located in 20 Public Enquiry Service Centres in 18 districts. The opening hours of these Public Enquiry Service Centres vary. The exact opening hours are available on the homepage of the Home Affairs Department.
