The Electoral Registration Officer today (September 25) released the three final registers of electors for 2007.
For the geographical constituencies, the final register carries 3,295,826 electors, representing an increase of 3.45% over 2006. These registered electors are eligible to vote in the District Council Election on November 18. Registered electors of Hong Kong Island can also vote in the Legislative Council Hong Kong Island Geographical Constituency By-election on December 2.

The final register for the functional constituencies carries 212,825 electors while the final register for the Election Committee subsectors carries 217,496 voters.
Apart from registration of new electors, the records of more than 285,000 geographical constituency electors, 2,300 functional constituency electors, and 2,400 Election Committee subsector voters have been updated in the respective final registers.
For geographical constituencies, a full set of the final register is available for public inspection at the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) at 10/F Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wan Chai. The public may also inspect the relevant section of the register pertinent to a particular district at the respective District Offices.
For functional constituencies and Election Committee subsectors, full sets of final registers are available for public inspection at REO's Harbour Centre office and its office at 10/F Guardian House, 32 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, and the District Offices in Central and Western, Yau Tsim Mong, Kwun Tong, Sha Tin and Tsuen Wan.
Notices on the inspection of the final registers were published in the Gazette today.
