The Government has announced the re-appointment of Professor Tam Sheung-wai as Chairperson of the Ping Wo Fund Advisory Committee for a term of two years.
The 10 serving non-official members - Ms Au Yuet-ching; Dr Ben Cheung Kin-leung; Mr Chui Pak-ming; Mr Ho Hon-kuen; Mr Billy Lam Chek-yau; Mr Lo Wing-hung; Mr Andrew Ma Chiu-cheung; Dr David Tsang Fan-kwong; Dr Yuen Man-tak and Professor Angelina Yuen Tsang Woon-ki - have also been re-appointed.
The Government has appointed the following new members to the committee.
(1) Ms Elaine Ho Yee-lin
(2) Mr Alfred Lee Tak-kong
(3) Ms Angela Lee Ching-nga
All appointments are to September 7, 2009. The full list of the membership of the committee is as follows:

The Ping Wo Fund, a charitable trust fund, was established under the Secretary for Home Affairs in September, 2003, with contributions from the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The fund also accepts public donations.
The ambit of the Ping Wo Fund is mainly to finance research and studies into problems and issues relating to gambling; public education and other measures to prevent or alleviate problems relating to gambling; counselling, treatment and other remedial or support services for problem and pathological gamblers and those affected by them.
