A lyre of "Queen" Pu-abi. This is one of two that found in the graves in the Royal Cemetery at Ur (Southern Iraq) of Sumerian Period (about 2600 - 2400 BC). The decayed wooden parts of the lyre had been treated by plaster of Paris. The front panels are inlayed with lapis lazuli, shell and red limestone. At front, the gold bull had been crushed and had to be restored. While the horns are modern, the beard, hair and eyes are original and made of lapis lazuli.
